This past weekend we decided to take a little road trip to the Flower Fields of Carlsbad, CA. If you aren’t familiar with this attraction it is basically a huge flower farm in Southern California . All kinds of flowers are grown and distributed in this flower field. The flower fields in Carlsbad are super popular during the spring time.
So, we decided to take a little family trip to see why everyone seemed to go there during the spring.
We took many photos and we decided to share them with you!
The closest fields to the entrance have the biggest blooms. Once you start moving farther away from the entrance, the blooms get smaller and smaller. We honestly enjoyed taking pictures further away from the entrance as there were less people.
From afar, the flower fields look like a ray of colors. It’s so beautiful!
The Sweet Pea Maze seemed pretty endless! However, it did manage to help JuJu take a nice long nap.
After walking around for almost an hour we had to take a small break. We took advantage of all the benches and rest areas that the flower fields have for their guests. JuJu loved laying on the bench and he seemed to enjoy the fresh air!
The full bloom flowers by the entrance were very beautiful. However, it was crowded by people who were also trying to capture pictures so we decided to walk a little further and give the smaller blooms some love too.
Honestly, They have the best lemonade at the Flower Fields! It is freshly squeezed and perfect for a hot and sunny day.
JuJu was not a happy camper towards the end of the visit so we decided to call it a day. Overall, JuJu did such a great job being out for such a long period of time!
Honestly, we are so happy that we got the chance to visit the flower fields this spring. We all know how hard it is to be out with a little infant. However, we are so proud of our little JuJu! He did such a great job and only got upset towards the end of our trip. (mostly because he was super tired) Besides that, he did great and we can’t wait to explore more of California with the company of our little man!
